Member of the Board
Giuseppe Giudici holds a Masters of Law from the University of Zurich. He completed his doctorate at the University of Augsburg and passed the Bar Examination in Turin. He has worked in the finance and insurance industries for over twenty years and is currently based in Zurich, after having worked in Munich, Los Angeles and Milan.
His interest in OceanCare was raised in 2017 after listening to an interview with Sigrid Lüber on Swiss public radio. Previously, in southern France, he had witnessed beaches littered with marine debris after a storm. While many people were indifferent to the disaster, he and his family went about picking up the debris. He decided to get involved in marine conservation and found an organisation in OceanCare that matched his focus on international regulatory processes.
Giuseppe Giudici has been elected as a Board member of OceanCare in 2021.
