Stephanie Prufer is a Legal and Policy Officer with OceanCare, focusing on international environmental and ocean governance. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Science and Policy from Duke University.

Stephanie brings a strong synergy of legal, policy, and advocacy experience, working at the intersection of environmental law, ocean governance, and climate policy to help build frameworks that protect ecosystems and the communities most affected by their degradation.

At OceanCare, Stephanie works within the Invisible Pollution Programme, focusing on the governance of marine geoengineering and its intersection with broader ocean-climate issues.
