Anita Bisculm

Board member

Anita Bisculm grew up in the canton of Graubünden and developed an early interest in nature, the mountains and issues of sustainability and social justice. As part of her biology studies at the University of Zurich, she took various marine biology courses. In 1997, she was co-project manager of the Swiss campaign for the International Year of the Reef (IYOR 97), where she first came into contact with the marine conservation organisation founded by Sigrid Lüber. Her professional career then took her through several positions in international organisations and numerous further training courses before she became a self-employed HR expert, coach and organisational consultant.

From 2020, she supported OceanCare as an external consultant in organisational and board development. Her election to the board in 2025 brings her full circle, enabling her to put her love of nature and scientific understanding of fragile ecosystems, as well as her expertise in HR, leadership and strategy, at the service of OceanCare.
